Many skin problems manifest as redness due to the presence of abnormal blood vessels visible beneath the skin. Our equipment at Aesthetic Space clinic Our nd-YAG laser (Candela Gentle Max Pro) is capable of emitting two lights with different wavelengths of 532 nm and 1064 nm from a specific solid, neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (nd-YAG), allowing for maximum targeted absorption by hemoglobin. Through this absorption, light energy is transformed into heat, causing a sudden and brief increase in temperature specifically within the local blood vessels. This ultimately leads to blood clotting, the local cessation of blood flow, and the permanent occlusion of the vessel (the principle of photocoagulation).
